This game is a prototype for a VR driving game where the player would have to swerve through traffic while avoiding the chasing cars, either by out maneuvering them or shooting them off the road, in an action packed car chase.

 

This game was initially thought up when considering the constraints and strengths of VR. VR excels incredibly well at immersing the player into the world especially if there's a huge degree of interactivity between the player and the world. However, VR does constrain people to a specific play space and for some this play space may only be limited to their desks. So, I decided to place the player in a car where you would normally only be restricted to your chair. The interactivity aspect comes in with turning the wheel, changing gears, and controlling the radio. I'm also a firm believer that you shouldn't need extra hardware for a VR game to enjoy it, which is expensive in itself already, so there's no need for racing wheel controller or a throttle controller.
